In the case of Kollector's Fatal Blow in Mortal Kombat 11, he intrudes on Kano's territory by using knives. Instead of using those arms to tear their opponent limb from limb, however, he uses them to wield multiple weapons at once.
Like Mortal Kombat's Sheeva and Goro, Kollector has multiple arms at his disposal. This Mortal Kombat 11 newbie may be a greenhorn, but he's no slouch when it comes to brutality. Topping off the extravaganza of pain is Kollector. Perhaps just as bad is the immediate, impending sense of unavoidable doom one feels when they realize they are being pushed face-first into the very same saw that just ground its way through most of their vertebrae.
Having a circular saw divide one's spine in half vertically seems more torturous than most real forms of torture, and that's saying something. More-so than simply getting sawed up, Kung Lao's Fatal Blow seems disturbing because of two simple factors: pain and fear. After pummeling (and probably shattering) his opponent's ribs, Kung uses his hat to slit their throat. Kung Lao also seems particularly interested in reducing his opponent's faces to a pitiful mess of ground meat and shattered bone-matter, though his approach is less stabby and more "saw-y." As he has done many times throughout the entire Mortal Kombat series, Kung Lao puts that hat of his to work in his MK11 Fatal Blow. As basic as this death might be for Mortal Kombat, there's just something so disturbing about being offed by a bat, especially when it takes 4-6 solid whacks to get the job done. Then, he smears that grin all over the floor by smashing the back of their head with a Louisville Slugger. After giving his foe an impromptu acupuncture session, the Joker uses his knife to put a delighted grin on their face. It quickly turns brutal however, when he pulls out a bowie knife and a bat. His MK11 Fatal Blow begins as wacky as one might expect, with Joker surprising the enemy with a playful pop-up toy.

The simplest, yet perhaps most gory, of these definitely belongs to the Joker.Įven as a guest DLC character in Mortal Kombat, the perverse and sinister mind of the Joker comes through in full effect. Some Fatal Blows in MK11, however, are more unnerving than others. No matter the character, every Fatal Blow in Mortal Kombat 11 has an unnerving effect when one imagines themselves in the same shoes as the victim.
